About The Position

This role supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of learning and development programs that enhance employee skills, career growth, and leadership capabilities. The Learning & Development Specialist will help architect how employees grow, from new hires to emerging leaders, by turning development into momentum and ideas into programs. The role involves designing and delivering training, elevating the employee journey, building scalable systems, and supporting leadership and engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in learning & development, training coordination, or HR-related roles
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design principles
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop interactive, engaging learning materials that drive retention.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and delivering training programs aligned with company objectives and workforce needs.
  • Develop and curate engaging content; e-learning modules, workshops, leadership development sessions, and blended learning experiences.
  • Facilitate dynamic training sessions both in-person and virtually.
  • Support and enhance New Hire Orientation (NHO) in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Help drive our career progression framework, equipping employees with tools to navigate growth at Alpha.
  • Coordinate and support mentorship programs that foster meaningful development relationships.
  • Support and manage content within our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring usability, accuracy, and strong participation.
  • Track and analyze training data, feedback, and performance metrics to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with HR and department leaders to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.
  • Assist in administering leadership development initiatives.
  • Contribute to employee engagement programs that reinforce a culture of continuous improvement.
