About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Instructional Designer. This is a Full Time - Contract role with a duration of 12 Months, located in Atlanta, GA. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing learning interventions, including instructor-led, on-the-job training, and e-learning courses, using Instructional Systems Design methodology. You will utilize analysis tools to identify knowledge and skill requirements for designing and developing training materials. You will work independently and on teams with other designers and facilitators to create training material. Conducting sessions with subject matter experts is crucial to ensure content accuracy. You will also conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare others to teach the developed material. Building performance measurement tests and evaluation instruments to assess and report training effectiveness is a key responsibility. Identifying appropriate instructional methods and observing newly implemented programs, gathering feedback from instructors and students to evaluate program content, flow, and success are also part of the role. Maintaining knowledge of current learning delivery methods and technical skills associated with training development is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Certification in Instructional Design, Adult Education or equivalent job experience/education.
  • Experience in developing instructor led or on-the-job training courses and using basic analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories
