Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree and/or relevant instructional-design, learning-technology, adult-learning, or professional-training certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in adult learning, facilitation/training, course design, or curriculum development.
  • Experience teaching workplace systems, operations, or processes, along with hands-on LMS administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of instructional-design methodologies, including ADDIE, and adult-learning principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging learning content.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, virtual-learning technologies, and digital learning tools; experience with tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Captivate, or Camtasia is a plus.
  • A highly organized, self-directed approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex processes and information into engaging learning solutions, including e-learning, facilitator guides, job aids, scripts, storyboards, and performance-support tools.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, operational leaders, and business stakeholders to identify knowledge and performance gaps and determine the right learning solution.
  • Develop measurable learning objectives, assessments, and evaluation methods to understand training effectiveness and learner proficiency.
  • Design curricula, instructor-led training, virtual learning, e-learning, and blended learning experiences using modern instructional-design and adult-learning principles.
  • Use learner feedback, assessments, proficiency metrics, and operational data to continuously improve training effectiveness.
  • Manage instructional-design projects from needs analysis and content development through stakeholder review, implementation, and ongoing revision.
  • Provide guidance and instructional support to Facilitators and other training team members to promote engaging, consistent, and effective delivery.
