About The Position

The Learning Design & Content Specialist plays a critical execution role within the Learning & Development function. While the Learning & Development Business Partner defines program strategy, priorities, and business alignment, this role operationalizes learning initiatives through instructional design, content development, curation, modernization, and LMS execution. This position transforms defined learning needs into engaging, structured, and measurable learning solutions that drive skill development and performance outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Learning Needs
  • Participate in discovery and intake conversations with stakeholders and SMEs
  • Develop measurable learning objectives aligned with defined outcomes
  • Evaluate build-vs-buy options and determine when curated external content can meet learning objectives
  • Design Learning Content
  • Design solutions grounded in adult learning principles
  • Recommend appropriate learning formats
  • Develop structured outlines, detailed storyboards, and learning architecture
  • Design assessments, branching scenarios, and reinforcement strategies
  • Ensure visual and structural consistency across learning assets
  • Develop Learning Content
  • Build high-quality learning solutions aligned to approved design documents
  • Produce instructional videos, scenario-based learning, facilitator guides, and supporting materials
  • Transform legacy materials into structured, learner-centered digital experiences
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate instructional integrity and learner experience prior to launch
  • Contextualize external content with internal reinforcement materials
  • Implement Learning Solutions
  • Ensure bilingual availability in collaboration with translation resources
  • Upload, configure, and maintain courses within the LMS
  • Build and manage structured learning paths integrating curated content
  • Provide LMS support and troubleshooting to learners and managers
  • Maintain documentation, version control, and organized asset management
  • Support virtual, hybrid, or in-person training delivery as required
  • Evaluate & Continuously Improve
  • Monitor completion, engagement, and usage metrics
  • Collect and analyze learner feedback
  • Refine learning assets based on data and outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement, scalability, and efficiency
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance development workflows where appropriate
