The Learning & Curriculum Division advances the organization’s mission by developing and delivering culturally responsive, accessible, and high-quality educational programming for rural, remote, and Indigenous communities. We bridge the gap in STEAM education by co-designing innovative tools, resources, and curricula with our community partners, ensuring that our work fosters discovery and empowers learners at every age and stage of life.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of completed university coursework, a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of Education and experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Sheets and Docs, and experience with project management tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• A strong interest in STEAM education and community-based learning initiatives.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid team environment.
• Understanding of, or interest in learning about, cultural protocols and responsive design in educational content.
• Ampere prioritizes the safety of our employees and the community members we work with, because of this we may require both new hires and current team members to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
• To ensure up-to-date documentation, please ensure it has not been over six months since the date of completion of the VSS you are submitting.
• The expense for the VSS falls on the individual, not the company, if there are any concerns regarding this please speak to the People and Culture Team.
• Additionally, please confirm you're completing the VSS in the correct region.

Nice To Haves

• Current enrollment or recent graduation from a post-secondary program in Education, Indigenous Studies, Communications, or a related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and populate centralized spreadsheets to organize curriculum content for adaptation, translation, and design workflows.
• Review educational materials to identify sections requiring cultural, linguistic, or curricular adaptation.
• Draft and revise adapted content, ensuring alignment with project goals and internal feedback.
• Integrate translated content into Digital Lesson slides using Google Slides.
