About The Position

The Learning & Development Coordinator performs a variety of administrative tasks and provides operational support for training and development interventions.   This includes but is not limited to managing program logistics, communications, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Possesses solid working knowledge of corporate learning, adult learning theory and instructional design.
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems; refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a consolidated calendar of training courses or events and coordinates the use of facilities and/or equipment.
  • Schedules internal/external speakers or subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Notifies attendees of training sessions, registers participants, and maintains records of attendance.
  • Coordinates materials and facilities for training sessions, including handouts, supplies, technology, and virtual or physical conference rooms.
  • Track and submit invoices and expenses.
  • Assist others on the use of a Learning Management System (LMS), running reports and compiling survey data.
  • Answers questions about training course offerings and supports the team as needed.
