About The Position

The Learning Center Testing Coordinator organizes and administers student testing within the learning center, including scheduling sessions, implementing approved accommodations, and maintaining secure testing procedures. The role involves communicating with teachers and staff, keeping accurate records, and ensuring all assessments are conducted in a structured, supportive, and compliant environment. The Learning Center Testing Coordinator is to be immediately responsible to the Director of Student Support Services for the carrying out of policies of the school and the Archdiocese of San Antonio as they relate to the function of the school, the classroom, and the immediate contact with students and parents.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
  • Technology proficiency in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and internet use for educational purposes and multimedia presentations.
  • Must pass archdiocesan Safe Environment Requirements and background screening
  • Must pass Texas DPS Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse screening
  • Sensitivity to the neurodivergent learner
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effectively manages a classroom, student behavior, or equivalent
  • Communicates effectively with others including oral and written instructions
  • Works effectively in a collaborative team-based environment
  • Knowledge of computer tools, including but not limited to email, internet, word processing, Google Suite, etc.
  • Maintains records in a secure and confidential manner and prepares statistical data

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, coordinates all assessments taken in the Learning Center, including the administration, proctoring, and processing of tests, as well as the dissemination of testing information to staff and students.
  • Assures testing integrity
  • Communicates testing instructions to teachers, schedules testing sessions for students, and returns completed assessments to teachers in a timely manner.
  • Ensures the accurate, timely, and efficient operations of the Testing Center.
  • Assists the Director of Student Support Services and Reading Specialist as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills
  • Attend and participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees as required.
  • Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
  • Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Supports and adheres to the policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese of San Antonio, including the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
  • Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
  • Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
  • Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory.
