About The Position

The Learning and Development Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees across the organization to drive performance and growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in creating training manuals and utilizing learning management systems.
  • Applied daily skills to assess organizational training needs and develop targeted learning solutions that enhance employee capabilities.
  • Instructional design expertise to create engaging and effective training materials that accommodate various learning preferences.
  • Onboarding skills to ensure new employees receive a smooth and comprehensive introduction to the company culture and processes.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory to guide the development of programs that maximize retention and application of knowledge.
  • Skills in employee engagement and career development to foster a motivated workforce committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPLP, CPTD) or related credentials.
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
  • Background in employee engagement strategies and career development planning.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools to assess training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities within the organization.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including instructional materials, manuals, and e-learning content tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions and ongoing training initiatives to ensure employees are equipped with necessary knowledge and skills.
