About The Position

The Learning and Development Specialist role supports a variety of administrative and operational tasks for existing and future learning and development programs within the Department of Health System Shared Services, specifically in Talent and Organizational Performance. Key responsibilities include scheduling, preparing materials, managing program enrollment, communicating with participants and managers, and collating program satisfaction data. This role requires collaboration with colleagues across ED&R, HR, and OSUWMC teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting learning and development programs, including program enrollment and coordinating program communications (e.g., reminders, follow-ups, evaluations).
  • Preparing technology and materials for facilitators, and managing room setup/cleanup for in-person sessions.
  • Providing support for coaching and team effectiveness programs, including assessment administration and related communications.
  • Coordinating mentoring and internship programs, including enrollment, communications, and supporting summer intern onboarding and invoicing/expense tracking.
