About The Position

CAWST is seeking an organized, curious, and passionate self-starter to join our Global Services team as a Learning & Development Intern. This 12-month contract position is connected to projects that support all of Global Services, with opportunities based on alignment between the intern's skillset and the organization's needs. The role involves learning administration, knowledge management, measurement, research, and the development of learning assets and tools. Past interns have led independent projects and collaborated with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Passionate and committed to CAWST and our cause
A clear communicator with strong research skills
Creative and innovative, with an eye for graphic design
Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable taking initiative
Organized, accountable, and a strong team player
Ability to conduct self-directed learning is key to success.
Canadian work authorization that is valid for the full contract duration.

Nice To Haves

French or Spanish fluency is an asset but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Learning administration — course set-up and support
Knowledge management — metadata, cataloguing, and organizing our resource library
Measurement — pulling and analyzing data from annual surveys, web analytics, and training evaluations
Research and creation of technical briefs and case studies
Development of learning assets and tools — online modules, presentations, lesson plans, activity guides, and more
