About The Position

LU-VE GROUP is a global leader in the development and production of industrial and commercial heat exchangers, serving industries including Data Centers, Power Generation, Food Processing, and Industrial Refrigeration. As we expand our Jacksonville, Texas manufacturing facility to 220,000 square feet, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lean Process Technician to support manufacturing efficiency, process improvements, and operational excellence. The Lean Process Technician will support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring production processes, identifying inefficiencies, and assisting with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices. This hands-on position will work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve workflow, reduce waste, and maintain standardized manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production support, process improvement, or a related technical role.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and document production data.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work directly on the production floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience conducting time studies or supporting process improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and standardized work.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, or equipment assembly.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow.
  • Conduct time studies, collect production data, and assist with process evaluations.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Support efforts to reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and material waste.
  • Utilize SAP to review production information, track process performance, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with production line improvements, workstation organization, and equipment layout optimization.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare basic production efficiency reports.
  • Support employee training on standardized work procedures and Lean Manufacturing practices.
