About The Position

We are looking for a Lean Coordinator to join our team and lead the charge in driving continuous improvement across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying Lean methodologies to optimize operational efficiency and productivity. You will play a critical role in streamlining processes, minimizing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the plant.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes and production methods
  • Profound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced moderator and teambuilding know-how
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Fluent English

  • The Lean Coordinator should possess a strong command of Lean methodology, including tools like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Standardized Work, to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste across operations.
  • They must be skilled in problem-solving and data analysis, identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Effective project management, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams are essential, as the role involves managing multiple improvement initiatives and fostering collaboration at all levels of the organization.
  • The ideal candidate must excel in change management, guiding teams through transformation while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Additionally, they should be able to make data-driven decisions, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Time management and the ability to drive results under tight deadlines are also key competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing lean principles to streamline operations and meet plant goals.
  • Facilitate communication of regional lean expectations and gather plant feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze logistics, production, and transactional processes, offering recommendations for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with plant managers to initiate and execute changes improving processes and reducing costs.
  • Ensure application of lean methods and tools throughout the plant.
  • Train plant management, staff, and employees in lean methodologies like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, waste reduction, and standardized work procedures.
  • Support Lean Maturity Assessment to monitor plant improvement progress.
  • Periodically update the global lean overview report for the plant.
  • Lead improvement workshops using lean techniques to foster continuous improvement culture.
  • Record workshop activities and results in the global system to track progress.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
