Requirements

  • Six Sigma Methodology: Knowledge of the concepts of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the manufacturing processes and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.
  • Active Learning: Understanding the necessity for continuous personal growth and learning; ability to gauge one's strengths, limitations and interests accurately, and use this knowledge for purposes of performance effectiveness self-development.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

  • Must be able to manage risk and ambiguity on a project.

Responsibilities

  • Manage approximately 10-12 CPI projects across various stages of implementation, lead regular cross functional team meetings or workshops to define the problem, create a project plan, implement immediate customer containment actions, identify & investigate issue root causes, facilitate solution(s) creation, validation, and implementation.
  • Work throughout the value streams to ensure solutions are implemented worldwide optimally, regularly creating/updating publications & systems for communication to worldwide dealers, regularly summarizing reporting to leaders/clients/dealers on project status and escalating appropriately when roadblocks are encountered.
  • Mentor other project leaders & lead division wide product / process improvement projects.
