About The Position

The Leads Operator is responsible for assembling mechanical components according to detailed manufacturing instructions and performing all duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. The role is in the Leads department and reports to the Leads Supervisor. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work; flexibility with start and end times is required. The employee is expected to follow company policies and may be assigned other duties to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written manufacturing instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to complete work order routers and other documentation.
• Ability to use basic gauges and other measurement tools.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Ability to meet effectiveness and production goals across multiple work areas.
• Flexibility with start and end times; occasional Saturday work is required.

Nice To Haves

• Some manufacturing assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and machines to cut, bend, and braze raw materials to assemble finished products.
