About The Position
This position is responsible for leading a team of employees in the Rub and Pack area. The General Description includes being responsible for all associates in assigned areas, scheduling and delegating workload among employees daily, and assisting on the line when needed in daily operations. The role requires knowledge in all aspects of the area, ensuring quality for all cases in all areas of operation, and the ability to fill-in a leadership role when the Supervisor is absent. The Leadperson must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel, observe plant safety rules, keep the work area clean, and be quality conscious in performing duties. Other tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to relate well with others.
- Ability to be a team player.
- Ability to lead.
- Ability to read a route card.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull and bend over the course of 8 hours.
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
