About The Position

Matrix Composites & Engineering is seeking a Leading Hand to join their Warehouse & Yard team at their Henderson, WA facility. This role involves overseeing and completing activities across the warehouse, yard, and DG areas, while leading and supporting a small operational team. The company specializes in composite and advanced material technology solutions for industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining & Defence, and also has an industrial coatings division.

Requirements

• Forklift License
• Driver License
• Competency on operating up to 10T and high-reach forklift.
• Basic MS office
• Basic MS Outlook
• Demonstrate an ability to manage a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small warehouse team during the shift.
• Operate forklifts (including up to 10T and high-reach forklifts).
• Pick and pack orders.
• Load and unload trucks, storage racks, and shipping containers.
• Complete site deliveries and forklift movements as required.
• Ensure timely completion of material deliveries and warehouse activities.
• Assist with inbound goods receiving and verification.
• Assist with outbound order picking, packing, and transport packaging.
• Motivate and provide leadership to the warehouse team.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Record operating details and perform minor forklift adjustments where required.
• Maintain housekeeping across the warehouse, yard, and DG areas.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Warehouse & Yard Supervisor.
