We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leadhand Carpenter to oversee and assist our field teams in executing formwork and other carpentry tasks related to the restoration and protection of concrete structures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, preferably involving formwork and concrete restoration projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks and comfortable working from heights.
  • Must be open to traveling
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to and from project sites locally and / or out of town (if selected for out-of-town projects).
  • Ability to pass Vector Construction’s drug screening program.
  • Must be flexible in working day shift and night shift hours, depending on the job schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate field crew activities on site to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform advanced carpentry duties
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and productive job site.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced carpenters and laborers.
  • Work hand and hand with our site foreman, acting as a backup and stepping in to cover any gaps as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required safety forms and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned
