About The Position

The Leadership Trainee Program is a comprehensive two-year training program designed to develop future leaders at JX Enterprises, primarily for dealership operations. Participants gain experience, skills, and tools to lead and solve client business and transportation challenges using JX’s value-added solutions. The position is located in Elmhurst, Illinois, and follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule. The program has three phases: a three-month dealership rotation introducing day-to-day operations and customer engagement in Parts and Service; 15 months of business and enterprise learning through hands-on customer-facing and sales-support roles, job shadowing, and management tasks; and six months applying operational and leadership skills to improve efficiency and support multiple business divisions. Six months before program completion, JX works with the trainee to identify a permanent role aligned with their skills and business needs, potentially at any of its 25 locations. Successful completion of the training, presentations, and core competencies leads to promotion to an Operations position, with further development on the fixed-operations side in preparation for possible future management roles.
