The Leadership Development Strategist & Facilitator plays a critical role in building and strengthening leadership capability at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) through scalable leadership development programs, manager resources and professional development experiences. This role combines strategy, execution, facilitation, and consulting to help leaders grow, improve manager effectiveness, and develop high-potential talent. This position requires both strategic thinking and a strong doer mentality. The ideal candidate can build upon the vision, influence stakeholders, and independently deliver high-quality leadership experiences, tools, and resources aligned with NLRs priorities and leadership competencies. The Leadership Development Strategist and Facilitator is led by the Manager of Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD), will involve close collaboration with members across the L&OD team, senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and external development partners to drive and continuously improve managerial and leadership success and effectiveness at all levels. The ideal candidate will model NLRs Six Leadership Competencies (6Cs) through their own leadership approach, including strong communication, collaboration, courage, credibility, coaching, compassion, and critical decision-making.
