About The Position

Sherwin-Williams is seeking motivated individuals with a drive for research & development to join our R&D Leadership Development Program. This training program is designed to develop key skills and experience that will lead to a role in the Chemist track within our Performance Coatings Group, supporting technical divisions such as Automotive, Coil, Industrial Wood, General Industrial, Packaging, or Protective and Marine. The program is 8-12 months long and will expose participants to various aspects of the Performance Coatings Group, with a deep-dive experience in Research & Development in one assignment for the entire program. Participants should be open to initial and possible long-term relocation. This position will start in June 2026 at our Garland Shiloh Road Plant, supporting the Coil Coatings Division. Upon completion, participants can apply for a post-program promotion as a Chemist.
