Leadership Development Associate
About The Position
This role is designed for ambitious individuals who want to fast-track their career into management and leadership. Successful candidates will enter at entry level but will receive direct coaching, operational training, sales development, and leadership mentoring with the opportunity to advance into Store Manager and future multi-site leadership roles. Requirements
- 1+ year of customer-facing work experience .
- Current valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle is necessary for daily bank deposits and travel to other sites as needed, except in New York City and Brooklyn.
- High School diploma or GED is required
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience preferred.
- college education is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying storage needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Maximize sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
- Ensure our highest standards of cleanliness are met through continuous maintenance (e.g., sweeping, mopping, grounds maintenance, etc.) of the site, including the office, and the interior and exteriors of the storage building and surrounding areas.
- Perform daily site safety inspections, including lock checks.
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to billing, security, auctions, and proper site usage
- Handle cash transactions, balance receipts, follow up on delinquent payments, process customer payments, and complete daily bank deposits.
- Protect our strong company culture by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all Extra Space employees.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
