As a Leadership Consultant, you'll work directly with leaders from the world's leading and largest corporations. You'll learn how their strategies and businesses work, and you'll shape leadership capabilities across the organization. We work in small teams to develop designed experiences – think customized leadership simulations, behavioral assessments, or app-based digital learning – then we facilitate these engagements with our clients in working sessions that incorporate humor, fun, and competition; and you're the facilitator and coach who makes these experiences impactful and memorable. There are no industry verticals at BTS, and you will work with a variety of clients on different types of projects. You'll be staffed on multiple engagements at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. Within our Leadership COE, you will deepen expertise in leadership development strategy, assessment, and behavior change – while also drawing on BTS's broader areas of practice: Strategic Alignment, Business Acumen, and Sales & Marketing. When you're not facilitating a leadership offsite or development program, you'll spend your time designing these experiences – interviewing clients, conducting research and analysis, testing programs, and learning. This is all done in a team-based setting where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day. As your skills and career grow, you'll take on more responsibility to lead projects, manage client relationships, find new clients and opportunities to grow BTS's business, and grow the careers of other BTSers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Two to five years of experience in consulting, learning & development, leadership development, or a relevant industry
Eligibility to work in the US permanently without sponsorship is required
Business and Operational Acumen: Possesses interest and skills to learn our clients' business operating models
Utilizes financial statements and metrics to understand and contextualize client engagements
Connects business strategy to leadership development needs and organizational outcomes
Leadership Development Expertise: Understands foundational leadership development frameworks, models, and research
Translates leadership theory into practical, experience-based learning that resonates with business leaders
Applies knowledge of adult learning principles to the design and facilitation of leadership experiences
Problem-framing and Developing Insights: Applies qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis to understand client leadership challenges
Integrates insights from secondary sources, including leadership research, to strengthen program design
Uses curiosity and questions to draw out data and insights from clients and stakeholders
Client-Ready Communication: Creates clear and accurate written documents
Listens so the client, as well as teammates, feel heard
Facilitates and presents in a captivating manner while communicating with others as regular people
Builds trust with client stakeholders through consistent follow-through and credible leadership expertise
Accountability to Self, Team, and Clients: Takes responsibility for your own work to help your team achieve objectives and outcomes
Requests and receives feedback to grow skills
Proactively looks for opportunities to help other BTSers with client and/or professional development
Sets clear expectations and holds team accountable for successful execution and teaming relationships

Nice To Haves

Experience designing or delivering leadership development programs, assessments, or executive coaching engagements is strongly preferred
Some project leadership experience is ideal
For more experienced candidates, experience in a client-facing role is strongly preferred
