Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including providing safe, quality care, centered around patients/clients/residents and families: Reporting to the Executive Director, Clinical Quality and Patient Experience, the Leader, Quality and Safety Governance is accountable for supporting the work of the Fraser Health Quality and Safety Governance Structure. Providing expert advice and guidance, the Leader, Quality and Safety Governance, informs the implementation plan, and carries out delegated functions from the Executive Director, which are informed by the co-chairs of the Fraser Health Regional Quality and Safety Council responsible for executing the Quality and Safety Governance Structure. Core work will be to work closely with site, program, network and regional support leadership teams, to coordinate and integrate governance activities across major functional areas where priorities diverge, in connection with Clinical Quality and Patient Experience portfolio Directors and others that are central to the successful implementation and ongoing administration of the new Fraser Health Quality and Safety Governance Structure. The Leader will identify and communicate risks and barriers including complex, cross-functional issues requiring coordinated mitigation across clinical, operational and corporate areas to inform actions and mitigation plans as directed. Communicates internally with Fraser Health Quality leadership, site, program and network leaders, Clinical Quality and Patient Safety team members, and regional supports, to ensure effective implementation, and ongoing alignment and contribution to the strengthened Quality and Safety Governance Structure.
