About The Position

TPI Composites is a global provider of structural composites products and the largest U.S. based independent manufacturer of composites wind blades to major turbine manufacturers in the United States, Europe, and Asia. It enables many of the industry’s leading wind turbine original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), which have historically relied on in-house production, to outsource the manufacturing of some of their wind blades through its global footprint of advanced manufacturing facilities strategically located to serve large and growing wind markets in a cost-effective manner.

  • Blade manufacturing experience: Knowledge of composite production processes.
  • Machines & tools knowledge: Basic understanding of equipment operation and safety.
  • Shift flexibility: Available for various shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety standards are followed, including correct use of equipment & PPE (Zero accidents goals).
  • Oversee and support EHS behavior & initiatives.
  • Utilize quality matrix to improve First Pass Yield / Defect reduction.
  • Monitor & support the correct performance of Tier 1 & Tier 2 & escalate as necessary.
  • Monitor & ensure the correct utilization of resources, e.g., Raw materials, tools, & personnel.
  • Evaluate & develop supervisor performance, comply with TPI one SMART goal setting & performance on time reviews.
  • Build teamwork and engagement within the TPI core values & IDEA.
  • Foster & promote continuous improvement culture & cost out projects applying Lean tools.
  • Monitor and approve personnel time & attendance to avoid manufacturing impact (payroll, permits, vacation & disciplinary actions).
  • Ensure on time & effective oracle transactions.
  • Ensure proper implementation of engineering changes & deviations.
  • Comply with and enforce each of the points of TPI's internal work regulations, Norm 035.
  • Ensure that TPI's Mission, Vision and Values are fulfilled and enforced.
  • Ensure that the processes of the Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 140001, ISO 45000) are maintained and improved.
