About The Position

The Government Capture Lead serves as the primary Government Engagement partner and government funding strategist for assigned sectors, research portfolios, or strategic program areas. The role helps business areas identify and secure government funding that advances priority research by translating government priorities, agency intelligence, and upcoming solicitations into actionable opportunities aligned with EPRI’s mission, research capabilities, and funding needs. This is primarily an internal-facing, assignment-aligned role. The Government Capture Lead works closely with Government Account Executives, who own sustained agency relationships and provide agency, policy, and funding intelligence, and with Proposal Development, which leads compliant development and submission of approved proposals. For approved pursuits, the role develops capture plans and customer strategies, supports proposal development, and coordinates cross-functional inputs and decisions. Sector executives make final Go/No-Go decisions.
