About The Position

The Lead oversees an assigned warehouse team and area to help ensure smooth operations and exceptional daily service for customers. The role supports warehouse management and is responsible for coordinating work, maintaining inventory and order accuracy, training and coaching employees, enforcing company policies and safety procedures, and keeping the work environment clean and safe. The position is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to carry objects 3–5 feet weighing up to 50 pounds routinely.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of more than 4 hours.
• Ability to walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4–5 miles) per day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull objects of various shapes and sizes, including in team lifts.
• Ability to tolerate hot and cold work environments.
• Ability to operate a reach truck or cherry picker at heights of 23 feet or more.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime that may include weekends.
• At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and complete orders accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance-improvement actions as needed.
• Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment in accordance with the 7S program.
• Work safely to protect team members and oneself.
