About The Position

Under the supervision of the Custodial Foreman, performs those cleaning tasks necessary to meet custodial contract specifications and assists in the monitoring of the custodial crews work This position is set aside for people with differing abilities. Proof of disability is required prior to interview This position is located in Baltimore, MD The core working hours are 6:00 am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday The hourly wage is $18.56 This position requires that the employee must successfully complete criminal history information background check and drug screening and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year experience in custodial work required
Must be able to pass security clearance
Proof of disability is required prior to interview
Employee must successfully complete criminal history information background check and drug screening and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Nice To Haves

Some supervisory experience preferred
Prior experience with individuals with differing abilities preferred

Responsibilities

Sweeps and mops hallways, stairs and offices
Empties tenants' waste baskets and dispose the trash in prescribed manner
Dusts horizontal surfaces
Clean bathrooms
Waxes and buffs floors with prescribed buffers
Cleans glass and windows
Washes walls and other vertical surfaces
Performs snow removal if required by contract specifications
Polishes kick panels, door knobs and other designated fixtures
Strips and waxes floors
Vacuum rugs
Mixes cleaning solutions
Maintains issued equipment
Notifies supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks
Supervises activities of assigned workers on a temporary basis while performing own work
Assumes responsibility of crew during the absence of the foreman
Performs all other duties assigned by Custodial Foreman
