About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Wealth Management Banker - Professional Services (LSG). This role involves leading complex initiatives within the Wealth Management Banking - Professional Services functional area, including those that are cross-functional and have broad impact. The position requires a deep understanding of business, operational, or technical challenges and the ability to make decisions in complex situations. Collaboration with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals is essential. This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties that may include offering/negotiating terms or taking an application for a dwelling-secured transaction, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results and meeting Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).

Requirements

5+ years of Wealth Management Banking - Professional Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
Meeting Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
SAFE registration at the time of employment
Meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards
Successful completion of a credit report to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness

Nice To Haves

Consumer and commercial client, mortgage or private banking experience including working with professional services firms (legal services)
Experience working with clients in the High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) space
Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance
Excellent relationship management skills
Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA equivalents) exams to qualify for immediate registration

Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large-scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors
Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of Wealth Management Banking - Professional Services functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with Wealth Management Banking - Professional Services peers, colleagues, and middle to more experienced level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead Wealth Management Banking - Professional Services projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor
