As a Lead Warranty Performance Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the supplier’s shared warranty cost and financial recovery. Our efforts instantaneously impact General Motors bottom line. You will actively participate in developing strategies, negotiations, executing regional warranty budgets, and collaborating with the suppliers and stakeholders. This role involves a significant amount of initiative, analytical work, and independent judgment. Becoming a subject matter expert is a requirement of the role, either technical or commercial in nature. You will collaborate with other Warranty Performance personnel, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Finance and other business stakeholders and Supply Base. You will engage in the crafting and execution of net warranty reduction and cost recovery strategies. The chosen candidate will be part of a team responsible for providing background information, creative approaches based on analyzed qualitative and quantitative data, thoughtful presentations, and innovative strategies.
