As Klaviyo continues to scale its brand and digital presence, we are building a strategic, repeatable video engine within Marketing that blends thought leadership, educational value, and entertaining episodic storytelling. The Senior Video Strategist & Producer will architect and operationalize this engine — developing recurring formats, building scalable production systems & templates (that can be utilized by agency partners, freelancers or AI tools) and delivering high-quality, on-brand video programming across web, YouTube, social, and digital channels. This role combines creative leadership, editorial thinking, and hands-on production expertise to ensure video content is not only compelling, but sustainable, measurable, and strategically aligned with marketing goals. This role is one-part high-level strategist and one-part video creator. You will be essential to architecting Klaviyo’s SEO/AEO strategy via creative video programs, building helpful, on-brand content that fosters deep B2C relationships and helps consumer brands grow. This is a pivotal moment for Klaviyo, and we are looking for a veteran leader to push boundaries and deliver the best work of their career.

Requirements

  • Proven Expertise: 8+ years of experience in video production, content strategy, and creative direction, with a track record of building successful video initiatives or series.
  • Cross-Organizational Fluency: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects across multiple departments, including Marketing, Product, and Education.
  • Strategic & Technical Dual-Skillset: Expertise in high-quality motion graphics and rhythmic, engaging video editing, balanced with the ability to lead high-level strategy.
  • Toolbox Mastery: Deep proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Figma, with a mastery of AI-driven production and personalization tools to scale video creation, enabling the production of dozens of tailored versions from a single asset for B2C segments.
  • Scale Specialist: You have a proven ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging visuals and repeatable content formats for a global (multi-language) B2C audience

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment, spanning both B2B and B2C relationship building.
  • Deep background in storytelling-driven content that blends aesthetics with functional educational value.
  • Strong, proven understanding of YouTube, SEO/AEO, and social video content strategy
  • Exposure to 3D design (C4D, Blender) or immersive web technologies to elevate video series production.
  • Proven experience directing and managing large-scale video production budgets and overseeing external production agencies to deliver world-class creative work, comfortable flexing between hands-on execution and high-level strategic oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable production workflows, templates, standards, and 'kit' components (MOGRTs, Figma components for video) to support high-volume content creation and ensure brand alignment with minimal oversight for always-on social and YouTube content.
  • Build repeatable systems that balance quality, speed, and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement workflow optimizations, including responsible use of AI-enabled tools, to improve production speed and scalability.
  • Define the video roadmap for SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), ensuring Klaviyo is the definitive voice for B2C growth.
  • Work across the organization, partnering with Marketing and Customer Education teams to align video series with business objectives and product mastery.
  • Lead and direct external agency partners and internal resources to scale production without compromising our "pixel-perfect" brand standards.
  • Build and own the systems required to produce video series at scale, sharing best practices that empower thousands of brands.
  • Partner with teams to identify high-impact video opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into structured video initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external partners and freelancers as needed to scale output.
  • Actively implement AI-enhanced workflows and emerging video technologies to keep Klaviyo at the cutting edge of digital storytelling.
