Lead Valet Attendant - Charlotte Marriott City Center

Towne Park•Charlotte, NC
•$16 - $20•Onsite

About The Position

The Lead Valet Attendant orchestrates the hotel guest service experience and works alongside coworkers to meet or exceed the site’s service standards. Under the direction of the Account Manager, the role includes coordination and administrative duties, troubleshooting, and providing guidance when the manager is not on-site. The position is not a management role, but may involve handling critical issues and making judgment calls when expediency is important. For non-urgent issues, the attendant reports facts to the manager and seeks direction. The role provides valet, bell, and guest assistance services; leads coworkers by example; and helps coordinate routine operations. It also involves vehicle and revenue documentation, shift reporting, and maintaining the security and confidentiality of guest information. Most work is performed outdoors, sometimes for the entire shift, in conditions that may include extreme heat or cold. Travel of up to 5% may be required.
