Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
• Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.

Nice To Haves

• ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
• Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
• Previous management experience.

Responsibilities

• As part of the Health care team, leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care.
• Acts as a professional resource.
• Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.
• This is a leadership position with direct oversight of pharmacists on multiple Medical-Surgical units along with assisting with pharmacist scheduling.
• Additionally this position is involved in multiple interdisciplinary committees, Quality Improvement and preparedness for Joint Commission/Disease-Specific Care certifications.
