Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Active Georgia Pharmacist license.
  • Two (2) years clinical pharmacy experience.

Nice To Haves

  • ASHP- Accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
  • Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
  • Previous management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads operation and clinical activity of the Pharmacy Staff so as to provide pharmaceutical care.
  • Acts as a professional resource.
  • Serves all patients, including, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescent, adults and geriatrics.
  • Provides direct oversight of pharmacists on multiple Medical-Surgical units.
  • Assists with pharmacist scheduling.
  • Involved in multiple interdisciplinary committees.
  • Involved in Quality Improvement.
  • Involved in preparedness for Joint Commission/Disease-Specific Care certifications.
