About The Position

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Twos Teacher to join our early childhood education team! Our twos program is all about discovery, independence, and building the foundation for a lifetime love of learning. As a Twos Teacher, you’ll guide curious little learners through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth — all within a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
Authorization to work in the United States
Have experience working with children in the 2–3-year-old age group.
Be warm, patient, and able to build strong relationships with both children and families.
Be dependable and willing to step into a leadership role alongside the current teaching team.
Have strong classroom management skills and be proactive in preventing challenging behaviors through engaging activities and consistent routines.
Communicate effectively with families and fellow teachers.
Be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practices and comfortable implementing curriculum while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
Be flexible, energetic, and someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers as they develop independence.

Nice To Haves

CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.
