About The Position

The Lead Trainer is a leadership position at the heart of our gym culture and operations. This role goes beyond training camps. It is about leading people, driving results, building trust, and living the standard we hold ourselves to every single day. The Lead Trainer works closely with the Operations Manager as a true team to grow membership, develop trainers, and create an exceptional experience for every member.

Requirements

Exceptional communication skills, both in camp and one on one
Ability to give and receive feedback and act on it without hesitation

Natural leadership presence that commands a room and earns respect
Coachable and committed to personal growth and development
Deeply passionate about health and fitness and living the life they preach
Member focused with a natural ability to connect with and motivate people
Reliable and punctual, especially given the early morning demands of this role
Sales minded and comfortable having membership conversations with members and prospects

Responsibilities

Train 15 to 18 camps per week
Lead and oversee the trainer team, setting the tone for culture, performance, and accountability
Provide consistent, candid feedback to trainers and hold the team to our core values standard
Onboard new trainers and integrate them into our culture from day one
Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly team meetings to keep everyone aligned and moving forward
Facilitate and oversee the member focus meeting experience
Work hand in hand with the Operations Manager as a true team to grow and retain the gym membership base
Actively contribute to membership sales strategy and member experience initiatives
Comfortable having membership conversations with members and prospects
Track key metrics and report regularly to ownership and the Operations Manager
Drive the direction of our nutrition product offerings across the team
Keep the team educated, engaged, and intentional about the products we offer and how we present them to members
Lead the retail vision alongside the Operations Manager
Plan and execute gym events that energize the community and keep members connected and excited
As Lead Trainer, you are a face of our brand. Showing up authentically and consistently on social media is part of the role. Monthly social media filming is required
Lead by example by sharing camp energy, member highlights, and brand content authentically
Represent Team Burn Kentucky positively and professionally across all platforms
