About The Position

StarChild Academy Winter Garden is hiring a Lead Toddler Teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities that promote children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. The role supports children’s development and growth while ensuring their safety and well-being and creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers. The position requires Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; candidates may need to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience required.
45 DCF hours required.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Ability to be patient, collaborative, and creative, with a passion for early childhood education.
Complete Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; candidates may be required to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
