About The Position

The Goddard School of Hillsborough is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher. The teacher creates a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children and families feel valued, and plans age-appropriate, play-based learning activities using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum. The role supports children’s social-emotional development, independence, and confidence, while building meaningful relationships with children and families and collaborating with fellow teachers and the leadership team. The teacher also maintains an organized, welcoming classroom and follows health and safety guidelines.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Compensation is $20.00–$24.00 per hour. Each Goddard School location is privately owned and operated, and wages and benefit programs vary by location.

Requirements

• Experience in a childcare or preschool setting.
• CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and make a difference each day.
• Ability to meet state training requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
