About The Position

We’re looking for Lead Teachers for our school in Apex, North Carolina who love working with young children and want to be part of a supportive, close‑knit school community where teachers are valued and growth is encouraged. This role involves leading a toddler classroom, creating a safe and engaging learning environment, and building positive relationships with children and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience OR completion of EDU 119/early childhood education credentials and two years of experience in a licensed childcare center
• Ability to pass required background checks
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for teaching

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom using developmentally appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Communicate with families using our parent app
• Observe, assess, and support each child’s development
• Maintain classroom organization, safety, and cleanliness
• Participate in conferences and collaborate with leadership
