About The Position

The Lead Therapist will work in a collaborative fashion with other CTPSB Therapists to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment for individuals with a history of problem sexual behavior. The Lead Therapist will serve as a liaison between designated supervising offices and the agency to address needs. Working within Adult Services, the Lead Therapist works with CTPSB program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients in the community. The CENTER FOR TREATMENT OF PROBLEM SEXUAL BEHAVIOR (CTPSB) provides community based psycho-educational treatment services to individuals with a history of problematic sexual behavior who are justice involved. These treatment services help clients to identify triggers, manage risk factors, learn socially acceptable behaviors, and set positive future goals so they do not reoffend.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in counseling or social work field
Eligible for licensure as LMSW, LPCA, MFTA or higher
2 years of related experience in the field of social work and/or behavioral health
Valid Connecticut driver’s license
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Must attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
