About The Position

Develop, manage, and maintain all services at Northside Psychiatric and DeSoto Psychiatric. Service components include: Assessment, Service coordination, Skills coaching, and Psychotherapy for patients and their families. Services are family-centered and provided in the office, schools, homes, and other community settings.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree(s) from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • FL license as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a clinical setting, with at least one (1) year supervisory experience
  • Must possess knowledge of Florida Baker Act Law
  • Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test
  • Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record
  • Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements
  • CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to manage personnel, plan programs, manage budget and work with other members of the management team
  • Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures
  • Ability to use a computer

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the program meets all internal and external standards
  • Ensure timely clinical assessment and other services for program consumers
  • Responsible for meeting a minimal direct service standard
  • Monitoring program budget
  • Managing and monitoring staff and program compliance with internal and external standards
  • Providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals and case managers
  • Providing clinical services as needed
  • Cooperating with agency staff and external customers
  • Interacting with the community on behalf of the program
