About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Lead Tester with strong communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. The role performs set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex circuits, components, instruments, mechanical assemblies, and finished systems. It also coordinates daily production requirements in the test area and may guide lower-level associates.

Requirements

Advanced understanding of and adherence to manufacturing documentation.
Advanced computer skills.
Ability to work on assignments that are primarily complex in nature.
Considerable judgment and initiative to resolve problems and make recommendations.
Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Typically requires 4–6 years of related experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
Ability to work on ladders or stools.

Responsibilities

Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot complex circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
May unpack, package, place labels, and crate products.
May rework assemblies and/or systems based on test results.
Determine and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
Assign and coordinate daily production requirements in the test area.
Prepare daily productivity reports.
May assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.
May interface with vendors for technical support.
May lead or provide guidance to lower-level non-exempt associates.
