As a Lead Member Service Representative for the Waterford Lakes branch at FAIRWINDS Credit Union, you will be the first point of contact for members seeking financial freedom. This leadership role combines service and development, where you will oversee daily teller line operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and exceptional member interactions. You will act as a primary resource for your team, providing real-time support, coaching, and guidance. Requirements

  • Experience supporting branch operations or leading a team, with a deep understanding of teller functions and credit union procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily teller line operations, including scheduling, transaction support, on-the-job training, and performance monitoring, to ensure efficient, accurate, and consistent service delivery.
  • Act as Manager On Duty in the absence of the Branch or Assistant Branch Manager, handling branch opening/closing and end-of-day balancing.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational questions and issues, resolving concerns quickly while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Drive member engagement through consultative conversations, uncovering needs and recommending appropriate products and services to support members' financial goals.
  • Execute daily coaching and development of MSRs to ensure performance expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Remain fully up to date on operational procedures, systems, and all product/service offerings.
  • Act as the primary custodian of credit union assets, performing internal control checks and managing branch cash levels.
  • Assist or serve as ATM custodian, ensuring functionality, cash levels, and reporting.
  • Support members with all account services, including cash handling, official checks, money orders, savings bond orders, and safe deposit box access.
