As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Peoria, IL. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. The role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience focused on improving customer financial wellbeing, creating loyalty, and increasing share of wallet. This includes processing various customer interactions, educating customers on financial alternatives, identifying banking opportunities, and making appropriate referrals to branch staff. The Lead Teller also performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products, educates customers on managing financial transactions using technology and resources, and provides guidance on communication skills, transaction handling, and problem resolution. Additionally, the position assists the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes, and ensures tellers and the branch adhere to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment, while completing daily operations and maintenance transactions efficiently and accurately.
