About The Position
The Lead Telemetry Technician will lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the telemetry department. This role involves leading or coordinating shift operations, serving as a technical or functional resource, and performing similar duties with staff. Responsibilities include assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work progress, monitoring and reporting compliance with policies and procedures, and overseeing and evaluating the orientation and training of assigned associates. The position may also provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the telemetry department.
- Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
- Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
- Assign, monitor and review progress of work.
