As a Lead Technology Architect, you'll partner with business and technology leaders to define future-state architecture, drive AI adoption, and deliver scalable solutions that enhance client experiences and support long-term growth. Working alongside Architects, DevOps Leads, and agile teams, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology landscape.
Requirements
- Experience designing greenfield solutions based on client journeys and Human Centre Design principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating vendor platforms and managing technical vendor relationships.
- Full-stack software engineering experience supporting end-to-end architecture across modern and legacy environments.
- Experience with Cloud Native (12-Factor) architecture, infrastructure patterns, and Azure/PaaS solutions.
- Strong knowledge of architecture patterns including Microservices, SOA, and Event Sourcing.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI agents and models to improve SDLC productivity.
- Experience with APIs, messaging, streaming, Domain-Driven Design, and integration patterns.
- Experience building PWA, SPA, and responsive web applications using .NET/C#, Angular, React, and MS SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, integration layers, and communication orchestration solutions.
- 10 years of combined relevant experience and an advanced university degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, information technology, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Recommend emerging technologies and architecture solutions to support business strategy.
- Drive AI adoption across the Insurance IT team through SDLC use cases.
- Apply hands-on full-stack expertise to solve complex technology challenges.
- Ensure solutions align with architecture standards, governance, and review processes.
- Lead technology evaluations and define architectural principles and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain enterprise technology roadmaps with business and IT leaders.
- Partner with IT leaders to manage technology lifecycles and modernization initiatives.
- Assess current architecture, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to align solutions with enterprise architecture.
- Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements, compliance standards, and documentation expectations.
