About The Position

This Lead Contents Technician is skilled in the completion of complex contents Pack Outs and cleaning tasks. Assists the project management staff in responsibilities that relate to the execution of warehouse management, pack outs, contents assessment, and structural cleaning and deodorization of both residential and commercial contents. In addition, this Lead Technician may be responsible for leading a team on site locations.

Requirements

  • High School degree required
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.
  • Possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of database, Internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to climb or balance.
  • Occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to carry a 40’ ladder from their truck and setting it up at the roof line of the associated property.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Property location oversight
  • Manages workflow of sub laborers
  • Communication with property owners
  • Interacting and scheduling of subcontractors
  • Participate in warehouse process cleaning.
  • Pack, unpacking, moving of contents and furniture.
  • Other duties may be assigned, including assisting in the Mitigation and Emergency Services department
