Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of field experience in the industry
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast based environment with minimum direction.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and capable of working on ladders and lift
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with LENEL preferred, but experience working with, servicing, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and or programming other security systems is acceptable

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain access control systems, analog and IP-based CCTV systems, network video management software, intercoms, data cabling, and related devices and equipment.
  • Regularly install, terminate, and test Category 5e/6 and Access control cabling in compliance with state/local codes.
  • Promptly troubleshoot faulty equipment and follow the RMA process.
  • Effectively assist with closet buildouts (ladder rack, equipment racks, and wire management).
  • IP, program and troubleshoot CCTV and Access control devices, and install and configure wireless devices.
  • Practice workplace safety, provide daily feedback to the team, and provide appropriate customer service.
  • Accurately communicate site conditions, progress, updates, and issues
