As a Regional Lead Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission, combining field leadership with customer-focused responsibilities to deliver operational excellence. You’ll oversee a team of skilled mechanical technicians across multiple U.S. locations, ensuring they’re equipped, motivated, and aligned with company goals. This position is based in the field in the region specified on the job posting and will report directly to the Area Manager for that region.

Requirements

Demonstrates strong technical expertise in generator systems, including electrical and controls troubleshooting, breaker operation and diagnostics, and advanced engine troubleshooting and repair.
Experience managing schedules to meet operational demands.
Availability for on-call responsibilities during high-demand periods.
A proactive approach to finding and implementing practical solutions.
Ability to ensure the proper resources are applied to the issue.
Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Uses computers, software applications, databases and automated systems to accomplish work.
Technicians have a rotating on call schedule. Must have availability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Work efficiently and effectively when with or without supervision.
Must be able to be on your feet for multiple hours a day.
Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

Ensure 24/7 on-call coverage and emergency response capabilities within your region.
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients, fostering transparency and ownership of regional KPIs.
Ensure storage unit and truck counts are accurate.
Manage and adjust schedules to meet operational priorities.
Perform safety audits and ensure safety standards are followed.
Coordinate training for technicians in safety, maintenance, and operational techniques.
Mentor team members to close skill gaps and encourage professional development, provide first line of support.
Ensure audits are conducted to ensure all aspects of technical proficiency, site preservation, vehicles maintenance, and inventory are all up to the Regional Area Manager’s and Enchanted Rock’s standard.
Reside in North Houston and commute to the Houston office when requested.
Acceptable driving record and ability to travel for business purposes.
Physical ability to work in field environments, including adverse weather conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing a ladder, and performing physically demanding tasks.
