About The Position

We're looking for a Lead Teacher at West View who brings warmth into the classroom and is excited to inspire curiosity, confidence, and growth in young children. This is a role for someone who understands that early learning is about more than lesson plans-it's about creating a place where children feel safe, known, encouraged, and excited to discover what comes next. As Lead Teacher, you'll shape a nurturing and inclusive classroom, plan developmentally appropriate learning experiences, observe and support each child's progress, and build meaningful relationships with families. You'll also work alongside an Assistant Teacher, providing the day-to-day guidance and coaching that helps your classroom team grow together. We hope you're someone who leads with patience and positivity, communicates well, and can balance the joy and energy of a classroom with the organization and responsibility that come with leading one.
