About The Position

The Gardner School of River North is hiring Lead Infant & Two's Teachers for its state-of-the-art preschool. The role leads a classroom with creativity, care, and excellence; supports and mentors assistant teachers; and builds meaningful relationships with children and families. Teachers plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and maintain a safe, compliant, and joyful classroom environment. Requirements

A CDA or an associate's degree with at least 6 credit hours in early childhood education.
Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
At least 2 years of early childhood education experience.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently enough to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff, implement curriculum and safety procedures, and complete written reports.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree.
Lead or co-lead teaching experience.
